To be held on the June long weekend - 8th, 9th  & 10th  in  2012

The event was conceived some 12 months ago and subsequent discussions led to the formation of an organizing committee of like-minded enthusiasts from a variety of backgrounds.  An event like this takes considerable planning and the organizing committee have not been idle!

The Cortina Mark One Owners Club of Australia inc. is proud to be hosting the inaugural event and hopes to bring you a nationals to remember.

This particular event celebrates these things:

1. The Cortina brand
2. The 50th anniversary since the introduction of the Mk1 Cortina, a car that went on to become one of the most influential and recognisable cars of the 20th century.

Being the 1^st ever Cortina Nationals, we anticipate a strong following and turnout of people from across Australia.  With a considerable amount of time until June 2012, we see no reason why every Cortina devotee can’t plan to bring themselves and their Cortina.  Indeed, we already have expressions of interest from associated car clubs in four states and one territory.
